<p>I’m really not sure when’s the final day but you gotta realise that it may take a very long process. you could even be notified by the end of the month because if someone’s on a waitlist for another university but also got accepted at NYU, he may decline going to NYU if he/she comes off the other waitlist. So you never know. but yea they would finally notify those who did not come off the waitlist. </p>

<p>I finally got the packet. I can’t stop myself from seeing the words ‘Congratulations and Welcome!’ again and again. This is so thrilling. However, I would like to know when can we apply for housing. Time is running out.</p>

<p>I called the financial aid office and they gave me the information over the phone. A confirmation is to be posted on the NYU web site (netpartners) on Wednesday. Hope this helps.</p>

<p>hello2ume - I just tried netpartners (NYU’s financial aid website) and got our financial aid package. I did not even have to wait until Wednesday!</p>

<p>^ that just means they are still waiting to review your fafsa.</p>
<p>I just spoke to one of the admission people…she told me that they have stopped taking people off the waitlist for stern…and that their incoming freshman class is now full…Dreams of attending NYU…all shattered into pieces…But maybe something better will come up in the future.</p>

<p>To those who got off the waitlist, are you able to access housing? I’ve paid the $300 housing deposit as requested in the candidate reply form and the deposit has reached them but I still can’t seem to access the housing portal.</p>

<p>i had the same problem. i called a week ago and they said they had to process my deposit and once that happened they would put me into the housing system. i finally got my email of housing instructions 2 days ago and the portal magically worked!</p>
