We are the "forwarded." We are confused.

I sent in my midyear grades around a month or so ago, and my status is “forwarded”

On forwarded to committee since late January. Applied chemical engineering. 3.76 UW/4.44 W 9th-11th, Sent senior grades (4.5 weighted), received no top scholarship letter. Good luck to all you! Love USC, but Ann Arbor is looking good too!

My status has been on Forwarded since Feb 5th. No change. Went through the other changes. Did not receive email, requesting grades. But received letter during first wave NO Scholoarship letter.

GPA: 3.9
SAT 1800
EC’s Over the top
On campus interview: Great

Haven’t been following this thread lately, but as March 15 is fast approaching I’m getting a little bit anxious.

I was requested to send my midyear grades in the “no scholarship letter.” I got straight As with 4 AP classes last semester so I think that’s going to look really good. So technically I had a 4.3 or something for last semester.

GPA UW: 3.8 W: 4.1
SAT: 1990
Major: Communication

I’ve been “forwarded” since late January or so. Is that bad, since I’ve already sent my midyear grades? By the looks of everyone’s posts, the status updates aren’t really that reliable. Guess I’ll just have to wait. This is going to be the longest month of my life.

@oxolojo, I’m sorry to hear that… I’ve seen you around a lot. Good luck to you wherever you end up attending. I’m sure that you’ll be successful anywhere you choose to attend.

D had forwarded, then “we need grades”, then “we have what we need”, today got a letter saying “please send grades”. (the small envelope scared her to death). I hope the dept that is in charge of posting updates is not the most efficient one on campus.

Wawona6, my son’s status is similar to yours. “Forwarded” for the longest. Received “no scholarship” letter. Did not receive email requesting grades. High GPA, SAT 2090, good ECs. His only problem is he is an Engineering major. Heard it’s very competitive. UCLA/UCB - if you don’t get into Engineering, you don’t get into the college either. I think USC will still admit into alternate major if not admitted to Engineering.

so…are we as “confused” as before now? Or does anyone have any new updates/suggestions/theories/rants/etc???

apparently the int’l kids that have been getting those delightful DHL notices have the “forwarded” status–good news for us? what do y’all think?

it seems that a ton of people have had status changes to forwarded recently. i’ve had forwarded for a while now though. is it bad that i haven’t heard back, and now more people have the forwarded status?

hello21, i’m thinking the same thing. I thought it was good to have forwarded earlier when most people did not have it, but it seems the majority of applicants are now at forwarded.

While clearly a few have changed to it recently, I’m not sure if more people have a “forwarded” status or just more of them are talking about it.

that’s true jazz/shreddermom, I never looked at it like that. Hopefully you’re right.

I greatly expect to be accepted and my status is still “being reviewed”
I dont think theres a way to know til the packet comes in the mail

mine says:

“Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don’t receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th”

and has been like this for the past few weeks. is this a better update than “forwarded” since it’s “being reviewed” finally or what i have no idea.

My d went to forwarded last week and now is back to being reviewed by ad comm. But the trick on the other thread worked and I was able to see a deposit commitment form!
log in then try it https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmCertification/Commit.aspx</a> Unreal!
Someone figured that one out!

it says invalid login…:(

im scared to try and log in because it says that they “log activity on this website” hahahhah xD

^^ Haha. I saw that too. I just use the other link because it automatically tells you unauthorized or brings you to link Smithanan posted.

Just like Smithanan, the enrollment form works for my son (starting last night) and late last night his status switched back from “forwarded” to “being reviewed.” But there’s a new line:

“Click here to see status of specific documents, or to turn in missing items.”

The last line was never there when he had preliminary before. I remember people who got in last year having that line added around now (although they had new date, not the forwarded status, while we don’t seem to have dates.)

^I am in the exact same situation as jazz/shreddermom’s son. Anyone else like us, and/or have any suggestions/reasons/theories?

missionewokzzz, the enrollment link still works for my son. Does it for you? I am fairly certain he’s accepted and hope the mail comes today!
