when do we find out if a school wants to TAG with you??

i dont even think im signing a TAG, but my friend brought this up. like do we send in the tag form thingy during sept, and then apply in nov without knowing if we for sure have a guarenteed spot? or do they tell us like early nov/late sept that we have a spot...and then send in a legit application? heeellllaaaaa confused let me know!

You still have to go through the hella application even if you send in a hella TAG form beforehand. They don’t send you a “we have a hella slot for you” letter though, you find out the hella old way in hella march during hella decisions.

hahahahaaha disgusting. i can say whateverrrr the hell i want, bruin*****01. but thanks for the answer. hella appreciated.

Awww hahaha I was just kidding around  Hella welcome!

Davis notifies us earlier, apparently:

When will I receive my TAG decision?

UC*Davis will notify you when your TAG decision is available, no later than November 15, one year prior to your planned enrollment.

[UC Davis : TAG FAQ](Transfer Admission Guarantee)

Bruingirl, I am appalled by your atrocious usage of the Bay Area word “hella”! Sorry :)

To be honest… I have no idea how you use it. Ha ha ha! :D

Norcal ftw

So you find out for sure in November?! That’s hella cool! Yay!

why do socal people hate on hella… up until a few years ago i had no idea it wasnt a real word… lmao. HELLA tight.

you have to go to your councilor and tell them you want to tag with UCD, etc, and or contact the school’s councilors (admissions office?). they dont come after you. look at uc’s website because i know each UC has a different deadline to submit TAG.

Whether it’s the repetetive usage of “hella” or “like, like, like,” it’s frivolous and like hella annoying.

pretty sure bruingirl was the only one who used it frivolously. i, on the otherhand, was genuinely hella confused. and soon as im done recovering from this morning’s wisdom tooth removal (and after the weekend lol), ill prolly just call ucsd and post what i find out.

Lol @ bruingirl101’s post…

I like how EASD used hellain his complaint about people using the word hella, that was hella funny. :D

Someone was hella baked. EH.

pretty sure socal is just mad they don’t know how to express themselves like us norcalers. Just gotta let the losers be sore :)

Haters gonna hate.

every time one of you non-norcal peeps try to use it you use it incorrectly lol

i always thought you just check off TAG on the application O_O?

New system. You still check it off on the main app, but now there’s a new TAG online application. Once you submit it there it gets sent to your CC counselor. This applies to all UCs that offer TAG.

Ok seems like no one really answered your question. Even though tag stands for transfer admission guarantee, its not a complete guarantee…its guaranteed if the major you have chosen is not impacted and you complete the requirements…so you still have to apply. Fill out the TAG and they will send you a letter in the mail letting you know your tag agreement was approved
