when do we hear from A&M

When do we hear from A&M? i've been waiting since Dec. 1st. i've had all my documents in by then. Does anyone know? i really wanna go here tooo. i'm a review applicant if that helps.

anyoneee know?

Some non top 10% people have already heard. I sent my application in early in September and have already heard. December is closer to the final date to submit applications so they probably just haven’t gotten to yours yet. Keep checking your application status page - I found out there that I was accepted about a week before I received something in the mail. Good luck!

My nephew heard 2 weeks ago, he’s not top 10%, but he had high test scores. I think the acceptances are coming in waves.

i’m out of state. my SAT scores are kind of low. but my class rank is pretty high i’m top 12%. i have a decent amount of extra curriculars and 325 hours of volunteering. i’m worried…i’m checking the status page everyday and nothing changes.

They are coming in waves.
My daughter heard right after the first week of January, accepted to college of Architecture - Environmental Design. Her app went in Nov 24th. She is in top 15% high -average scores - great EC’s lots of volunteer time, great essays, all AP/Dual Credit courses, coming from a school that does not weigh AP/Dual Credit courses any different than a regular class :frowning: - totally not right and it has been corrected for class of '10. She is taking a dual course her Sr. year on the campus of a University in the A&M system. I believe what put her in early acceptance was the campus visit her Jr year, going to SLOT her Jr year and going to the TAMU Regional Admission Center.

since all the texas applicants know there status shouldnt texas a&m be releasing theres anyday now?

how do you know all texas applicants know their status?

i applied in december as transfer. I already have 44 transferable credit hours. But i haven’t heard so far. Nothing has changed in my status for long time. Financial aid shows that your in good academic standing. Does that mean my application is complete and they are reviewing it?

i mean texas as in UT.

I know what you mean tigger19…
I dont think they all know yet.

well on the texas forum it seems like decisions were posted last night and today.
people knwo if accepted, capped, and waitlisted.

supposedly only 250 are waitlisted…

no, a&m won’t give admissions decisions to all freshman at the same time like texas did. the only reason texas had to do that was because there were so many people that had applied that were in top 10%. a&m doesn’t really have that problem.

that makes since.
im just sick of waiting.

waiting since october

that’s how it was for me for UT - waiting since sept… only to get CAPed.
surprisingly A&M was really quick to accept me (applied in late october and accepted in early dec) - and i wasn’t even in the top 10%!

good luck tigger! i’m sure you’ll get in.

TAMU is best…

stilll waiting. if you haven’t heard from them yet. is there a chance that your one of the people that has been rejected? do they send all rejection letters out together?

no… they’ll start sending decision from First week of april

I applied on March 5th and STILL haven’t got my UIN number, I called and they said they had all my stuff (transcripts), when should I expect it?

and

Does a long wait for your letter mean you got accepted, does a short wait mean you got declined, or vice versa? Is there any correlation?

splinter…
r u transfer?
if u have finished more than 24 transferable hours credit than u might hear in april…
otherwise in may after you submit the final grade of Spring semester.
TAMU receives hundreds of application in a day and its takes some time to process in ur
status…

I submitted all my application in January and it was processed in end end of february

good luck
