Which schools do you regret not applying (or applying) to?

Eugene Lang (maybe) and Columbia College Chicago. I really liked Columbia's theatre program and the way everything was set up. They also had a lot of classes that focused on comedy. I just heard their core classes aren't stellar.

duke for me too

I really wish I had applied to Notre Dame. I applied to HPS after S worked out early, and everyone (me/parents/counselor) told me to drop ND because there was no chance I would go. But the Catholic environment is something that I've always wanted, and so I really think I shouldn't have closed that door.

oh whoops i got it confused with canadian apps
but see
for McGill, if youre a canadian you have till feb 1st for early, and march something for regular. dont they have that option for americans applying to mcgill too?

I wish I had applied to Amherst :/

I wish I applied to LSE. It will definitely be a reach but I still have a chance in getting in... if I applied.

I regret not applying to UCSC and UCSB, though I wouldn't have gone, I would have more chances of being accepted somewhere (other than UCR and UCM)

Ugh, this topic brings back about two months (up until now) of frustration and hopelessness. I realized I applied to completely wrong schools. I wish I had applied to UChicago and Georgetown specifically, but other colleges I should've applied to are UVA, Northwestern, Vassar, and Oberlin. The problem with me is that I applied to mainly large universities where the sciences and preprofessionalism thrive (Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, etc) and what I really wanted was a broad liberal arts education that deals with critical thinking and reading the Western Canon (like UChicago). Sigh...I guess I can always transfer...

Cornell, Rice and Duke

I wish I had applied to Georgetown, Northwestern, and Cornell.

boston university --i would’ve gotten in…

northwestern, university of Chicago.

yale, upenn

I could have handled a couple more rejections.

I wish I had applied to Fordham.

after getting waitlisted at my UBER INSANE REACH (Johns Hopkins) I regret not applying to either W&M or UVA. Everyone told me I’d get flat out rejected; now I’m thinking otherwise. Oh well.

lol armistice

Don’t regret anything but I think I should have applied to UVA, UNC, and Princeton

Duke. I had the application done and everything, just didn’t feel like spending the extra money when I knew I would probably get rejected. After getting into Northwestern, I’m starting to regret not applying.

I should have applied to Princeton and Yale, based on my other acceptances, I might hav had a chance there! Oh, well

I wish I had applied to Pomona and Swarthmore.
