Which state would you hate to live in the most?

Texas. I can’t deal with the traditional southern atmosphere and their conservative status.

Anywhere in the south.

I’m surpised to read so many posts knocking Kansas and Idaho. Much of Kansas, and particularly the northeastern part of the state (the Flint Hills) is beautiful (think of the scenery in Dances With Wolves – even though that was filmed in South Dakota!), Kansans are some of the nicest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet and Lawrence and Manhattan are two great college towns. The whole tornado thing is greatly exaggerated too. Idaho is spectacularly beautiful – best kept secret in the US, imo. Two states that I wouldn’t want to live in : Mississippi and Nevada.

^^ It’s not too bad down here.

^Where is GA do you live? Not to be creepy haha but I’m here right now

Way down south and near the coast.

Alright, I’m near Ft Benning if you know where that is

Yeah, that’s north of me. Track Palin was there once :).

No way! Did he go to basic here?

Yeah, right before he went Iraq. He’s such a hottie.

Dude that makes my heart flutter. I knew he was in the army but I didn’t know he started here. IF timings would have coincided I would have seen him. Talk about cute couple…

Yeah, he was here before the election. I was so ****ed after I found out. We coulda been a hot interracial couple.

Vermont - isolated, no real commercial center/mall/etc. within reasonable driving distance

yes but there’s skiing and such, and [depending on the part of vermont, mind you] you could still drive to boston.

True that, I live near Boston, but some of my friends in vermont complain about it alot.

Anywhere south and/or west of Pennsylvania, excluding DC and California.

Probably somewhere in the south.

I wouldn’t want to live anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon line, or anywhere west of the east coast/ gulf coast states except California and Oregon, if I live in the US at all.

Also, whoever said that West Virginia was in the ‘deep south’ is very misinformed both culturally and geographically.

I don’t know why, but Kentucky automatically comes to mind so, yea, I guess it’s Kentucky then lolz

^Kinda comes to my mind too :o
