You just described exactly why I would hate to live there.

Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississipi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North dakota, south dakota, Wyoming

I agree with themeaningoflife. New jersey, especially bergen county (where i live), is very nice. i live in an upper-class neighborhood and its all good :P

we got shopping malls, movies, book stores, and the air smells good as long as you are not in the meadowlands. the guidos are down at the shore

California.

Utah is one of the prettiest states that there is. Come visit :)

New Orleans is awesome.

Nebraska. I don’t live there, but definitely in the top 5 for states that suck a high hard one.

^ Omaha is okay…

Probably Alaska its way too cold.

I went to Alaska in June! It was gorgeous, and I wouldn’t mind having a summer home there or something, but I wouldn’t want to be there during the winter :o

I’d probably say…North Dakota. Very cold, no big cities, and…it’s North Dakota.

^ Alaska has two seasons: frostbite and mosquitoes.

Bergen County, FTMW. It’s all about the 201!

Deep South (everyone’s socially conservative and it’s hot/humid as hell). Especially Mississippi/Alabama.

I’m actually more okay with Montana and Wyoming since I’m okay with cold and libertarians.

Anywhere that’s not California or New York. Especially if it’s middle-America. I don’t know how people can survive it.

The gaseous state.

Well, actually, that would be pretty awesome.

West Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas. These states remind me of incest, hunting, fishing, rednecks, and lack of education.

California/Florida. Cannot deal with heat. That’s why I’m not moving out of the NE/Mid-Atlantic for college.

Anywhere that’s socially conservative. I would do very badly in a place that culturally different from myself.

Any tiny state where the population is rural/widely dispursed. I need to live in a big city or in the suburbs of a big city.

I would also prefer not to live anywhere cold.

Translation: “**** you Maine”

Even though it’s such a beautiful place, I’d feel least comfortable living in Hawaii… I wouldn’t like living that far away from the continental US. It’d be awkward. Plus volcanoes, heavy rain, earthquakes, etc, I’d just like to leave it as a vacation destination.
