I keep thinking “Well, at least I haven’t been rejected yet!”
I’m just going to ignore that I haven’t been accepted either. =)

This wait is killing me. I cannot concentrate on anything. Any chance decisions will be released tonight or tomorrow morning??

Wow and I thought I was anxious! I would like a definite time for when the decision will be released but I know that W&M is trying their best to review everybody’s application thoroughly, I mean if over 900 people applied that is a lot of reviewing. Just try to breathe everybody, it is not that much longer =)

Anytime now now. So excited! :)

yeah definitely excited…just can’t figure out if it’ll be tonight or sometime during the day…sooooooo nervous.

We know you’re all very anxious to hear from us and we’re working to make sure decisions are released as soon as possible. However, the process is not a simple one. We must review applications, meet as a committee, verify decisions made, compose the emails and release them. We still do not know exactly when they will be released but it will be by May 1 so at worst it’s another 48 hours.

W&M Admissions,

Thank you for keeping us up to date via the admit it blog and this thread. I think I speak for most of the applicants when I say that we absolutely understand the magnitude of the task, and are nothing but thankful for all of the hard work that you’ve done.

That doesn’t stop us from fretting about what time we’ll see a decision, but that concern is borne through excitement for the school, not dissatisfaction or lack of appreciation for the process of admissions review.

Thanks,

O.P.

Since decisions are going to be released soon, i was wondering what happens if you’re waitlisted…approx how many will be waitlisted and when would you hear about getting off the waitlist.

Soychai I just read the decisions blog and they said that 100 people were waitlisted.

[W&M Blogs Decisions Decisions: Fall Transfer Edition](http://blogs.wm.edu/2011/04/29/decisions-decisions-fall-transfer-edition/)

Thanks brah

do you still think decisions will be sent out today? I feel like they’re done with the process since they posted the blog…what do you guys think?

i think they will be emailed tonight around 8 pm. just my guess :)

Not sure, I’m not going to worry about it too much though.

Although, after reading the new blog post, my stress level has definitely peaked.

why do you think 8?? I was thinking 5 for some reason, idk why

W&M is known for sending out emails later in day- definitely past 5 pm. Again, just my guess. I would be thrilled if they were released at 5…that would mean only 1 hour and 47 minutes left of waiting!

After reading the most recent blog post, my stress level has gone up a lotttttt

definitely. “This pool was one of the largest and most competitive transfer applicant pools we can remember” ughh sooo scary

The blog was not at all meant to cause additional stress. We just hoped it would give everyone some more information about our decisionmaking process. Yes this pool was very competitive but that only serves to speak to how strong all of your applications were!

And yes, the waitlist questions are answered in the blog as well as in the emails those waitlisted will receive.

O.P. we certainly understand the anxiety and appreciate the immense interest shown by everyone on this thread for W&M.

i really hope emails will be sent out soon! i feel like i’m going to blow up!

Emails are out. Waitlisted :(
