Winter 2012- Transfers Accepted/Denied/Pending?

Also, what is this online transcript thing? Where does it load to? And how do I make sure financial aid is set up? I filled it out for UW, but people keep talking about “pages” becoming available. If anyone can explain in further, that would be most helpful. Thanks, Micaela.

Go to myuw , you have a myuw account right?

Go to admissions sidebar–> click on unofficial transcript.

If it says page cannot be displayed or whatever it is then you’re not confirmed in yet. If it loads with information then you are in.

Only the first batch of transcripts loaded so far, more should load sooner or later…

Financial aid is also on the right side of your myUW homepage. It should tell you something like “your aid is calculated based on…” so you know you are in their FA database. Also if I remember correctly I received an email from UW saying that they have received my FALSA or something like that. But don’t quote me on that cuz my memory is not so good.

I meant FAFSA*. When I submitted my FAFSA back in feb.

Well I’m on their FA database and I haven’t received unofficial transcript or letter yet-- it doesn’t mean you’re in.

You’re right, since the admission & FA are processed differently.

My transcript just uploaded (at 11:10 am). I’m so happy. Yeaaaa!
I am running to Dr.'s office to get done with my vaccination thing.
Hurrahhh! :)

My unofficial transcript loaded today 1 min and 30 secs ago! I was pretty worried because I don’t have the best gpa ever. I am transferring from a community college with my Associates of Science with a 3.25 gpa (granted it was a Spanish class that brought it down so much). I had a 600 verbal and 700 math SAT and no major hardships and I am White. In-state as well. Maybe that will give some hope to those still waiting. Good luck everyone!

Oh yeah, forgot to add my major. My transcript says pre engineering. I am going to aeronautical once I get all the pre-reqs. Also lists me as a junior.

My GPA is a 3.7, and I’m a sophomore (I will have 75 credits completed after Fall quarter 2011 at my community college). Btw, I am in-state and most of my credits are from doing Running Start in my senior year. I’m double majoring in Communication/Journalism and Political Science and I mentioned that on my application.

@schan53 - Where are you from? I have a green card since 2009, and I’m originally from Germany:)

Aheadofthegame: I’m from japan and I’ll be majoring in comm (but not journalist) too! Did you graduate from high school here? Just curious!
