Yeah that’s what we were all hoping for. Btw I checked the time schedule and it seems that most of the classes are already filled. I don’t know how it works but the last thing I wanna do is to get stuck with crappy classes in my first quarter at the UW.
I think I read somewhere on this forum that for new students, the UW overloads the classes or something. We ll have to wait and see how it all works out (and that’s if we get in):

Full classes are the least of my worries. How about giving notice at my work, finding someone to sell my housing contract to, pack up my house, move across multiple states, find housing in Seattle, all in what?..barely over a month? If we are lucky? I am going home to visit my parents for thanksgiving and I thought I would for sure have heard by now so I could you know…actually start planning things during my short trip to WA. haha. I too am losing confidence in my application.

Stay strong guys. We’ll all eventually hear back soon. Patience is rewarded.

patience is a virtue…:)

But perhaps they should move the application deadline up a month?

@ everyone worried about classes: I couldn’t register for Fall quarter until August 3rd, and all of the classes I wanted were full. However, by constantly refreshing the enrollment summary pages (not the time schedule), I was able to get into all of them. It is a bit tedious, but don’t give up hope. Then, next quarter, you will be given priority over underclassmen.

Hey everyone!
I called admissions and was told the first batch starts going out this week and people should be looking for answers as soon as the end of this week and next week and people should continue hearing through the month of December. I know it’s not much to go on, but at least we now know they are being mailed out this week.
Good luck everyone!!!

Thanks dean,

note: this week is mon,tues,wed

Oldeknave: thanks for the note. I forgot about the holiday. lol

My fingers are crossed for next week hopefully :)

Thanks for the intel. troop morale is higher than ever.

Each department handles transfer students differently.

In most cases, if a class is full…it’s full. Keep checking the time schedule for whatever you want to open up.

In a few cases (com 201/202 for example) they set aside x number of seats with specific quiz sections for transfer students.

There aren’t enough seats in classes to go around for everyone, and someone has to be last on the pile. (And everyone has to be last at some time or another).

But don’t worry…the following quarter…you transfer students will be able to register as a junior and beat out the fresh/soph

My unofficial transcript loaded!

Congrats CGJ2012! Mine hasn’t loaded yet…

CGJ2012 Congratulations!! Mine hasn’t loaded either

How do you tell if your transcript has loaded or not, what screen is it on?

congrats!!!

mine loaded.

grats, SRL184, when was the last time you checked and it didn’t load?

Congrats SRL184 as well! I’m so jealous of both of you. lol Looks like I’m gonna have to spend my Thanksgiving being anxious ahh

To check your unofficial transcript:

MyUW → Student Finances → Financial Aid Status → Unofficial Transcript

If it’s not up, then it will say the page can’t be loaded.

Mine was done sometime around 3:00pm
