Even though I am an in-state student I can already see that December will be crazy. I really do hope we’ll hear by the end of the month so that I can register for winter classes at my CC in case of rejection…

Maybe we won’t get letters until December, but unofficial transcripts should be loading any time now.

oldeknave: my unoffical transcript only loaded a day or two before I got the letter

sgcore: I’m pretty confident this process will mess with your finals for fall quarter, in one way or another. Last year, some of the orientations were the week of my finals. The one I signed up for (luckily) was a day before my finals. although that sure took away a day of studying.

I have a feeling it’ll be next week or the week after that we find out… Nothing in the mail or with the transcript yet!

I’m kind of scared about what our schedules will look like for Winter quarter (if we’re accepted) since registration has been going on for a while already.

Travelgirl: How long were you on the waitlist for housing and what was your priority number (if you don’t mind me asking).

I wasn’t on the waitlist at all…they offered me the apt the 1st day that they are allowed to (the day after I registered for classes). I was moved in and ready to go before winter quarter started.

I was quite surprised since the family housing website says that it’s 6+ months wait and a whole priority system. I asked about that…and they said that the amount of people looking for housing (that actually submitted all the required paperwork) comes in waves.

Hey everyone, I’ve been watching this board closely while waiting for UW to make a decision (I had already been accepted at bothell) and tonight I got an email from them letting me know I got in!! Good luck to the rest of you, I know how hard the waiting is!

Congrats. I didn’t know we’d get an admission email, not a letter. Are you a transfer, freshman, or already in UW but applied for a certain major? Because one person has gotten an acceptance email from foster but she was already going to UW.

and if you were never at UW has your unofficial transcript loaded?

only international students should be notified via email
(for getting into uw, not referring to getting into a particular major)

Winter – international student applications not accepted this term

oldeknave: have you received your decision letter?

I haven’t, I don’t think anyone has

Oh I see. I thought that you are telling your status. Anyways, I hope we all hear soon. All my plans are hanging on this one letter.

I’m a transfer coming from community college, never been at UW before. My transcript had been uploaded when I found out from UW Bothell last week. It changed on Thursday but I’m not sure Seattle had anything to do with that. In addition to my email on Friday from the business school, I received a packet from the admissions office yesterday notifying me that if I haven’t received my formal letter of admission, from the university itself, it would be arriving soon. Stay patient fellow applicants, you’ll find out soon!!

Oh nice, so you applied to Bothell and UW, maybe that has something to do with it?

congrats!!!

NaranjaDoodle: Congrats!!
Good luck for your future!

OUT OF THE DARKNESS COMES A GLEAMlNG RAY OF HOPE.

Looks like another quiet day… Nothing in the mail again ):

yeah same here. It’s getting harder.
