Winter 2013 Transfer Thread

Does any one know is U-M’s admissions more than 1 person to view our applications? Would there be many people view each applicant individually and get a whole result?

[How We Evaluate Your Application | University of Michigan Office of Admissions](http://www.admissions.umich.edu/drupal/how-we-evaluate-your-application)

Dreamingowl u should just chill and relax a little. Everyone is as anxious as u Lol…

@d4wnzz: OK sorry guys I just felt the way to be relaxed is to keep chatting and be more clear about the school rather than just sit, wait and count calender.

could I know if we were able to transfer, do our credits of this semester be able to transfer?

The best method to feel relaxed is to not chat about it and not to count the days on the calendar. Not too long ago I just took a week and a half break from these forums as it made me think about UofM too much. Focusing too much on UofM is not the way to go; trust me, after three consecutive years, I’m the master of it. The only thing that brings me back now is your questions, haha.

Yes, your current semester’s credits do transfer. Keep in mind, only 60 credits can transfer. I do not know how they determine which transfer and which do not.

the best way is to focus on ur current school now  and chill with ur friends as much as possible lol

Thank you. Oh my god, I already have 63 credits now, including this semester it would be 70+! I don’t wanna waste my credits and current tuition and fees…

Yeah I forgot to mention that d4wnzz. Dreamingowl, don’t forget you are a student at an institution not named UofM and if you are not accepted, you still want to be on a good, solid track toward success. Do not screw up your GPA or your focus now and harm yourself later on if things don’t turn out your way.

Albo has got it right! thats what im talking about lol. Make better use of ur time doing work instead of Spamming F5 or Apple+R on the computer lol… Although i gotta admit i come to CC a few times a day hahaha

anyways its officially October  Have a great monday blue tmrw everyone! :)

Thank you guys. Actually that’s what happened last semester, since I put too much effort for transfering for women liberal arts colleges, I damaged my GPA last semester but remain on GPA 3.54. I would try my best to focus on the present semester. It’s October now and closing to mid-term, best wishes to everyone!

Check it out  UMich not too bad at 40% lol

screw CC -.- wanted to share some info but CC censored me…

Thanks but I could not open the link. I saw that in USNEWS before, but is that for transfer admission rate? I thought it was for freshman.

I called U-M today, she told me it’s about 3–4 weeks for being notified.

transfer web

@Dreamingowl - I wish it was 3-4 weeks. :stuck_out_tongue: This is my 9th week after submitting, and 7th week after processing. Needless to say, I’m checking WA much more than I should be. lol

mega i checked at last year’s winter’s transfer thread, the earliest came out about this time. All the way till November lol. but we should be getting decisions soon, in 3 weeks we should all get notified.
