@abgestumpft Kind of bleak but I reckon it means you were rejected. I still have the pending message
Where do you go to accept the offer online?
@UWwinter2017 Link here: https://sdb.admin.uw.edu/enroll/uwnetid/
Applying as a freshie, but still no luck. Everything’s still pending for me :(. Hopefully I’ll hear back soon.
Call them and ask cuz it’s working for me
I called admissions today, too. For anyone who is still waiting on a decision, they told me it could be as long as mid-December
oops, I just noticed that people already posted this info.
Good luck to all still waiting!
If i can only attend the 28th dec orientation because of personal reason. ( out of the country till 21st, and cannot change it), but the only open space is the 16th… Can i call them and tell them about the situation, and will they allow me to go on the 28th?.. OMG… i cannot…
Thats weird @hy0407 I just signed up and my options were 21,22, and 28
To the person applying as a freshman; my girlfriend who is a freshman at UW didn’t hear back until late march/early april that she was accepted
@UWhopeful199 this is for Winter 2017 though… Lol
@huskyq I am! I’m finishing up my finals at Towson and heading out on the 20th
@UWhopeful199 Dang really? Even though she applied to winter quarter?
@Ruberi well, if you read previous comments, someone said they were applying for freshman admission so I was giving them some information. Thanks though.
@UWhopeful199 I know. Pretty sure it was me lol, and freshmen are able to apply for the winter quarter.
@kcah96 Oh no way! That’s amazing. I used to teach a class at Towson! Are you driving out?
@huskyq my sister, who’s also moving to Seattle, is driving our uhaul cross country in 2 days. I’m sticking around for finals and flying out on the 20th
@kcah96 I’m gonna PM you! This is exciting!
Is possible to accept the admissions offer online, without mailing the letter?
Nvm that lol…I figured it out! Btw I made like a last minute decision to switch from SU to UW. Ugh, hopefully it was the right decision.
I got into UW for winter quarter, and I contacted the financial aid office to see about applying for financial aid, because I’d seen no instructions anywhere. They said winter quarter transfers usually only receive federal aid, which is a max of 5,000-6,000 a year; this is not nearly enough to cover the cost of attendance for students with low EFCs. Has anyone else spoken with a financial aid officer?
