i'm getting nervous now! some of us could be hearing decisions soon!!! Ahhh!</p>
<p>I have this rule with my parents (at home this semester) that they are not allowed to get the mail from the foyer. Even if I am not home, they have to leave it there til I pick it up. oh the flashback to senior year.</p>
<p>i know exactly what you mean, i am the only one who checks the mail!

<p>I actually chose my classes to be after 2:00 just for that reason! && I'm constantly checking the mail every ten minutes lol</p>
<p>I don't want anyone to see a thin envelope and then be like "oh he got rejected...lets be nice!"</p>
<p>and yeahh the painful flashbacks of senior year are coming back :[ the anxiety!!!!!</p>

i don't want to start thinking about my plan b options, but i have to start planning for the worst and hoping for the best (nyu) it seems. i wish they would tell us now!</p>

<p>Just called they don't have my HS still :[ I sent a new one yesterday, but to get it from LA to NYC is weeks with snail mail!</p>
<p>&& If I don't cancel on the other university by the 27th I get charged 1000$ penalty fee.</p>

<p>hopefully if I call on the 26th and they have a decision I can convince them to tell me on the phone...not likely though :[</p>

i would call them and tell them your situation. i know for sure some people last year heard before the 27th.</p>

<p>I called NYU today and they are still missing my college and high school transcript. The personnel I talked to was the file clerk. She doesn't sound too friendly. I was notified by her the following:
1) KEEP WAITING! If you send your transcripts, IT IS somewhere in the SEA OF DOCUMENTS! She was actually sorting all the mail when I talked to her. So you will want to talk to the file clerk.
2) Decisions WILL NOT be released until Mid December.
This is devastating because I have to submit my $550 deposit to USF to secure a dorm room. However I won't know my plans until I hear back from NYU.</p>
<p>I wish USC will accept spring transfers!</p>
<p>i talked to a lady this morning to check if my application was complete and she was not as nice as other people i've talked with, maybe we got the same person!</p>
<p>i now hate the words "Mid December"! i honestly cannot physical wait that long without exploding. that sucks about your dorm room situation! </p>
<p>i hope they get everyone's transcripts in their files soon.</p>
<p>why is this year mid-december when the past two years have been mid-november? that is aggravating!!</p>

but i still have hope b/c i looked at the 2008 thread and people said the same thing, december not november. some people on the 2008 thread heard in november, so let's keep hope alive that the same thing will happen this year!</p>

i use to watch baseball, but now the season is over, so now all i have to occupy my time and keep my mind of the stress is homework! ugh!</p>

<p>i called today and they finally processed my college transcript and have everything...since there are far fewer applicants to gallatin than to cas, im hoping they will review my application soon (maybe they already reviewed it!!!) and get my decision back to me before mid-december (ughh!!! )</p>
