2009 Spring Transfers to NYU

Do work!

DEEEEEEJJJJJJJJ

Oh man deej brought back some dank stuff. That was the best dragon chase ever!

THE DANKEST!!!

(balls in your court)

Post scriptum: are you going to the jewseph jewenstein center for jeweness tommorrow? or perhaps the "don't jump off this building, building"? or maybe the center for Gallatin pointlessness jokes?

Now that alan's gone, we no longer have the opportunity to bring an ethnic minority--outside of stern--to plague meetings. for shame.

What are stern kids saying? Don't know. They aren't speaking english. BOOYA

I think i might go to the jew center. I have to meet up with my "good friend" with the large pole, Judah Goldsilversteinburgman. You've met him right? ;)

Stern kids are probably going to the bronx tomorrow to laugh at the people in the projects.

Oh yeah, is he related to Malachai Goldbergmansteinmenson?

Then us gallatin kids are going to stern to laugh at the kids still in class.

Yeah they're cousins. Judah just invited me up to his penthouse on Park Ave, right now! Should I go? I mean we all know whats going to happen when I go up there.

$tern kids will make it rain on you gallatin kids.

I'm drowing in my own rain

Park ave. blows. Invite him to David fincklesteinsilversteingoldmangoldberg's house. Its on E 14th st...near Union Sq. Apt. 206 or something. I heard this gay kid named benjamin lives there. No, seriously. He is gay.

Yeah I heard about this Ben kid. I heard he makes guys feel real good ;), and he also has my first name. lol. I want a piece of that. Maybe David and Ben can join me and Judah for some good times ;)!

HE'S YOU SILLY BILLY!

lollololololololoolll (do work)

lolololol I know ;).

William is more prestigious than Queen Elizabeth II!

Seriously now, both I--wmplax--and benjamin--trojans--are students currently at NYU. We both transfered in for this fall term (trojans is at stern, wmplax is at gallatin) from different schools and are currently roomates.

In short, we had nothing better to do at 2:42 on a Friday night than get on college confidential and screw with prospective NYU kids. If you find anything we said offensive, then you probably shouldn't come to NYU...you need a sense of humour/open mind and other related BS. This is not a school where PC reigns, particularly because it is rather progressive. And no, we are not anti-semetic.

On a lighter note, feel free to direct questions concerning gallatin to wmplax. Trojans couldn't care less about prospective stern kids so don't contact him. He's cranky. And actually gay. And, being in stern, he has difficulty with english (joke. you will understand if you are accepted and attend).

Good luck to all prospectives. NYU is an extroadinary place--particuarly gallatin.

...But $tern=$$$

I really don't mind questions about NYU or Stern, in particular, but I might not answer questions promptly, and I won't answer questions about your chances of getting in.

Shut up, benjamin.

You shut up, William. I don't care if you're more prestigious than the Queen. I'd slap that woman, anyway.

I'm so done with you, ben. So done.

So I was just browsing through the previous replies and came across a nasty little mofo named "jset1989." You, sir, are retarded. I actually went to Harvard before NYU and can say, having experienced both, that NYU is far better. Academically, NYU has significantly stronger programs in the arts and humanities, and stern/tisch are power houses in themselves. You go to Harvard to get a brand name; you go to NYU to a. experience NYC, b. take advantage of internships, jobs, etc., and c. get an actual education. Rankings are very political, and often deceiving; look through the "criteria" (if we can call it that) of US News's rankings and I imagine you will be pretty surprised--for the record, UChicago, and not Harvard/Princeton/Yale, is the best school in the US. My gf is applying, like all you, for the spring semester here...she currently attends Princeton. The ivy league a sports conference, and nothing else.

I am curious, jset--what program are you in?

To prospectives: my time at NYU has thusfar been fantastic. Having said that, there are students like jset...fortunately, that sort of student tends to be the significant minorty.

Okay.. now that the thread hijacking is over..

@Love and Coolant
Hope they get your app complete soon, especially if they will start giving out decisions within the next 1-2 weeks

@Duffle
Congrats on your app being complete, good luck!

Question to all spring applicants, do you think they'll ask for our transcript after this current semester if they can't make a decision based on what we already sent them like they did for the fall admission? Or is the time span too short for them to do that?

williams348
i don't know? i don't think they would mainly because we all have at least a year of college under our belts since we're applying for spring. and the time span does seem short.
but i have no idea!

how are all of you guys doing in school?
