@hailtopitt1787 my ds will be applying to Pitt for the bs/md program and is also interested in Pitt as UG even if he doesn’t get into the bs/md. Does he need to come for an on campus interview now or can he wait to see if he gets an interview for bs/md? Or - Do you have local interviews in each state?

Just to confirm - when you refer to the bs/meld program, are you referring to the medicine guarantee?

Does anyone know when the admissions committee begins meeting? Application marked completed August 9, but I’m assuming they don’t review this early. Also, do responses come in an email or regular mail? Thanks in advance for any info.
@musiclover214, They should start reviewing applications shortly. Admissions decisions will start going out in early/mid fall. Notification of admission comes through email first and is followed by a letter. Any other admissions communications typically come by mail first.

@hailtopitt1787 About two weeks ago my “My Pitt” account stopped saying I needed to send anything. However, it still says “This application is Incomplete.” I have emailed Pitt about a few things and have only heard back twice. Is there something I can do? Thanks
@almostdonewithhs, If there are no specific action items listed in your account, you are most likely good to go. It takes a little while for the “incomplete” status to clear off the account. If by any chance there is anything we are missing, one of our processors will make sure we contact you.

@hailtopitt1787 Thank you very much for your quick response! My D would like to apply for the Pitt scholarships as OOS, and one important fact for consideration is ECs. However, she could not find any place to put in her EC and other activities in Pitt online portal. Should she send in her resume through snail mail?
@dadofd, The Admissions Commitee recommends that students outline significant ECs in their responses to the Short Answer Questions. It is not necessary to send a resume. Hope that helps clarify!

Question: my son just submitted his app this week. He answered “short answers” #1 & #3…but for #2 he decided to include an online portfolio that he created at zeemee.com about his community service…it includes videos, pics, and more. He’s hoping it will be looked at. Are you familiar with zeemee? And will admissions visit his link?
