Bank of America Student Leaders 2011

The mail is picking today of all days to be slow! Usually its here by 2:30. WHERE IS IT!?

So, the mail just came. Nothing from BoA. This is really starting to aggrivate me. lol. I just want to know! Anyone in NJ heard anything??
Only a few more days until May 1st…

lj5109, it’s Monday. I wouldn’t expect anything till later this week. The more you fret about it, the more it’s going to take away from your studying (AP tests next week!)and/or fun.

Just let it ride. Hope for the best, but don’t let this program consume your life.

I’ll post back when I hear something from NJ. Good luck to all those who are still waiting and congradulations to those already accepted!

No AP tests for me :frowning: But I do have SATII next Saturday.

And our email does say May 18, as someone posted earlier. Don’t expect anything before then.

users from the BoA thread a few years back had been left hanging past the deadline. it seemed like after the acceptees were contacted, the rejected were just… forgotten.

so, sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but if you haven’t been contacted by now (and you see that others from your market have) you probably didn’t make it… :(

Nykyriias, I’m from the AZ market and have not received anything either.

@paronomasia- I would tend to agree that at least people in AZ who have not received anything should assume they were rejected. Sorry :/

PS Has RSI ever contacted you after they told you that you were waitlisted?

I would really like to register for community college classes this summer if I am not getting the internship (so at least my sumer will be somewhat productive). But, I cannot register for classes if I do not know what times I will need to be working, or if I will be working at all. xD

Has anyone in Florida been accepted yet? I really want to know if I got it or not…

What market in Florida? I’m in the Broward county market and have yet to hear anything.

I’m in Broward too, maybe they just haven’t told anyone yet.

I definitely hope so, it’s good to hear form someone else who is in Broward. I was starting to really lose hope.

Nothing in NJ today

To those who have been accepted into any market, what are the dates of your internships? My family is trying to book a cruise and I am trying to guestimate whether or not I can even remotely make it if I am awarded this internship. Thanks :)

I was starting to lose hope also, and my summer job search was about to begin. Now I think I will hold off for a week or two.

To those accepted, did they send a letter in the mail, or call you? If it was a letter, what did it look like? I’m afraid I might have missed something, because if it was unmarked the letter may have been thrown away.

Just wanted to say that I’m in the Baltimore, Maryland region and got my rejection letter today. It’s a regular letter-size white envelope, really thin, has the traditional BoA mark in the left-hand corner, and basically says “Thanks, but we regret to reform you…” Off to get another internship, I suppose.

Happy interning to all those who got in and good luck to those who haven’t heard back yet! (:

I have to admit, my patience is thinning :P

Nothing in from NJ today. I was kind of hoping to end this process before AP testing, whether that be with a rejection letter or an acceptance letter.

Nothing on this end of NJ either…UG!

lol came home today to find the rejection letter in the mail.

Elnaiemd what market are you from? Just curious
