January 2012: Math Level 2

Does anyone remember the five answer choices to x^2 < 4??

**bear111/B abs value of (10t-60)

Can someone explain why it’s absvalue(10t-60)?

I second hkim’s request for the five answer choices to x^2 < 4

What was the answer to the problem about f(x)=(3x+2)=x?

what question was 1/pi^r? i remember only getting 1/pi

hkim0713
\Wife travels t-1 hours at 6o mph, so has gone 60(t-1) miles
Husband travels t hours at 50 mps, so has gone 50t miles
difference = miles between them = abs val(60(t-1)-50t)=abs val (10t-60)

**bear111/B (x-2)/3

Anyone remember the question about bacteria?

yeah i said the biggest one

catcat18:
do you remember the question or the (numerical) answer?

I second cat

I second cat
It was y=_(1.1)^x i believe

What was answer to the 2n/6 problem asking which is an integer?

bear
2n/3

Three more questions I just remembered:
Average of remaining scores
Parabola opening up
Which equal 1 (trig)?

Hiking
Can you explain plz?

I know I got one question wrong (the one where it was infinitely many lines… for some reason I put 2 -.-) so far, but overall I felt this was a little bit harder than the blue book , much easier than Barron’s, a little easier than PR, and about the same as Sparknotes. Hoping for an 800!

bear
2n/6 = n/3 = integer so double that will be an integer, too.

Parabola was a>0
I said only first equation = 1
