Hiking:

The question f(f(x)) = 6 , what was the answer?

I think it was 2

hkim
2? 10char

What do you guys think min raw score for 800 is?

Was that the one where f(2) = 3, and then you plug in 3 into x (thus f(3)) and the table said that f(3) = 6?

Is there a way to not have to press the refresh button to see if anyone’s posted something new?

For the one where the line of length 10 it rotates around the point (0, 6), do you guys think the answer was [-8, 8] or E, that when rotated, it doesn’t create an actual interval?

Hkim
Yea that was it

Semaphore
It was -8,8. Use pythagorean theorem. Hyp 10, height 6, so 8 was on the x axis

Did you get that log base 5 of 10 was the one that wasn’t equivalent to the others?

Yeah, I also put E, because when you rotate it, it wouldn’t actually be touching the X axis since I’m pretty sure that the X axis is a line and not a plane.

Yeah, everything else was equal to the number 2, and log base 5 (10) wasn’t

Bear, okay thanks
Semaphore, I don’t remember, but I put [-8,8]

Hiking
Thats wat i got. It equaled like 1.2 instead of 2.
Also, wat did u put for the rotating line one?

I don’t remember the question, but I remember the question had something to do with a circle being tangent to the x and y axes. Does anyone remember that?

hkim
r=-q for the circle one

bear
I put (-8, 8), but I’m not sure if that of (E) is the correct answer

Hiking,

Oh that was the r=-q? The circle was in the 2nd quadrant too, right? Okay good!

hkim
Yeah, it was in the 2nd quad and it asked for r in terms of q.

It was [-8,8], and r = -q.

Wait, so does anyone remember what the third choice for the trig one was? I know the first one was sin(2x)csc(2x), the second was 2sin(x)cos(x), but I’m not sure about the third.

xquik
III. was sq rt of (cos^2(2x)+sin^2(2x))
