Hey Guys! Like you, I really want to attend NYU and I already turned in my application for Spring 2009. Just wanted to get your feedback:

High School:
GPA: 3.51 :[[[
SAT: 1220 :[[[
With AP: English, Biology, Econ, Government, Psych, Spanish, US History.
EC: Student Government, Water Polo/Swimming, Senate.
I was top 15 percent of my school.
As you can tell I really messed up in High School.

College:

This is my first year and I am taking many units during summer school.
GPA: 3.7
I already took Calc I and Critical English/Argumentative Writing

EC: Phi Theta Kappa, Student Government (committees, senate), Soccer, Scholars Honors Club, Working 30 Hours/Week, Psychology Club (next semester), YMCA Volunteering.

The THing Is my first semester I messed up and got a 3.0, but I worked really hard and I will have a 3.7 by the end of this summer session (so far 4.0). I already accumulated 56 units.

I was also already denied last year applying as a freshman.

Do you think admissions will see I took so many units and take that into consideration?

I’ve been in college for one whole year and I am going to start my second after summer semester.

I applied to CAS.

AHHHHH what do you think?

Is it easier to get into the spring semester?

Also I made sure they knew I am Nicaraguan and my parents were “torn from their country” and forced to start anew.

Will this help me?
