I wonder if they know each other! That’d be kind of funny. And… hmm. I wonder, I thought I had been told that at least your first quarter was supposed to be spent in campus housing. I’ve thought about the Village as well, but I have a buddy living there and she says that it’s sort of inconvenient living both not on campus and not in town but in between. Having grown up in a rural area I kind of understand what she means haha.

I don’t think anyone got an email except the email giving us the date. I think they just expect you to check online.

@tommy
Mine says 2012. No idea why it would say 2010?

You have to check your application status.

@Kiwee- Yeah, no kidding! And I dunno, I’m pretty sure you’re not required to live in campus. If you want to live on campus, you’re required to live in Porter, The Village, etc for a semester before you can move into another college…Maybe that’s what you heard? And I could understand your concerns about The Village. I think I’d rather live there than next to all that dope near Porter though!

Oh maybe that’s it! And… GAH I know! I have a hard time believing that the transfer community is a whole lot different on that scene than the actual college. That makes me super antsy. I really like the idea of the village (kitchennnn… ahhh…) because it’s still closer to campus than the Community Center (although the community center is like… three minutes from the bus stop in downtown… lol). But I’ve heard it’s pretty competitive to get into the Village.

I think with the TC it’s a matter of finding the right community of people. Which I hope to do without going mad too quickly. But again I think it depends on how different the TC is from the actual Porter/Frosh side. :C I hope it’s pretty different.

im an approved tag applicant for molecular, cellular, developmental biology. however i didnt get a decision yet and im kinda freaking out cuz this is one of my first choices. does this mean that i didnt get in to ucsc?

guys don’t worry i’m sure we all got in if we tagged. They have a lot of applications to look over, it will take some time. It is a bummer though I hate waiting.

@softball the tag filing period is only in the month of september. all you need for santa cruz’s tag is a 3.0 gpa and 30 semester units completed. How many years at CC does not matter. you could be a 1-4 year CC transfer and still tag. What are your current stats?
