@poliscifemme my last name starts with an l. I don’t think it is alphabetical…and yea, I feel you. it is very stressful indeed. uw is the only school I applied so I really hope I can get in.

@longhornedhusky I got my admission letter last week and my transcript still hasn’t loaded. don’t lose hope

Does any engineering std get the admission? Do we hear bk the general admission BEFORE or AFTER the department decision?

I asked UW a couple of times before but they gave me opposite answers…HELP!!! The waiting time just drive me nuts! The engineering department application just opened two days ago. Hearing bk the schl admission after the department making a decision is totally insane.

I think it should be after the department

Has anyone hear anything this week?

Hey all, I am new to the forum!

I haven’t heard anything about my transfer application yet, but my unofficial transcript is online as of today!

I applied as a Business major, but am not prepared to apply to Foster at this time. I completed my freshman year under the Pre-business program at the University of Arizona, and have some other credits built up from high school as well. I just moved to Washington in 2012, so I took the last year off to earn in-state status. I thought that my lack of preparedness to enter into my major of choice may hurt my chances of being accepted, but seeing that my transcript is online makes me verrrry excited!

Anyway, congratulations to everyone who was accepted! I hope everybody else hears back very soon. :)

Lindsey52 What classes have you taken and what’s your gpa? How many credits do you have? I’m curious because I’m looking to apply to UW in the winter quarter but I won’t be ready to apply to foster as I will only have 70 credits at the end of the fall. Btw I do know that I spelled business wrong in my username. I did it on my phone haha

My transcript loaded! I am freakin’ out!

I am a non-traditional applicant. 2.9 overall GPA but 4.0 over the past year. I wrote a hell of an essay. Transferring from a 4-year OOS school but a WA resident.

My transcript loaded today!!

I have an assumption that if you applied to a competitive major you will hear AFTER the department has made a decision. I applied to UW’s Design department and took their entrance exam on 6/18 and was accepted on 6/21. I assume they wait to hear from your department before sending admissions letter.

Here are my stats:
At art school:
3.3 GPA
30 credits

At community college
3.6 GPA
151 credits (AA + AAS degrees)
Graduated with Honors
Member of alot of clubs and extracurricular activities

I’ve been keeping an eye on this forum for like a month now so I figured I should stop being lazy and finally write a post of my own haha. Hopefully I’ll give some worried people hope lol. I’m a Washington resident and transferring from a community college. My gpa was only 3.06 when I applied, although I sent in another transcript in April after winter quarter and it was 3.13 then. I know it’s a little lower than the average accepted transfer gpa, but I started off as a running start student and really screwed up for like 2-3 years, finally got my act together and raised my gpa. I stressed my dedication and pattern of improvement in my personal statement in the academic history portion. I like to think I put my heart into that personal statement, even though it still feels like it could’ve been better even after you submit it, right? haha

I think another thing that really helped me out was that I got accepted into the biochemistry major, so it really does seem like if you get into a competitive major, you will likely get accepted for general admission. My unofficial transcript loaded on June 13th, a Thursday, and I got my letter on June 17th, a Monday So it should take only like 2 business days for the letter to come after it loads! Good luck for everyone still waiting! As someone who felt they didn’t stand a chance, I know how agonizing it is. :)

For all of those who had their transcripts load, about what time of the day did it load?

I need to stop checking 10 times a day, so knowing about what time it loads would be helpful. Knowing my luck I’ll have to wait for the letter but I still can’t help but check constantly.

It was in the evening for me - 7 pm Pacific but I hadn’t checked in a few hours so it may have updated a bit earlier than that.

Mine loaded at like 1 in the afternoon.

How do you check to see if your transcript has loaded?

Mine loaded around 5 pm pacific.

“For all of those who had their transcripts load, about what time of the day did it load?”

The time that it loads for an individual is not relevant in any way.

Transcript loaded ! Waiting for a letter. Oh the agony!

Can you guys post your majors and stats too?

Oh mine is I’m a reply deep in this thread but here you go
