No one from my geographic area has gotten any decision, including accepted, deferred or denied.
@mumof2 that is rapidly changing, UF is looking to diversify its student base over the next decade, making its application process less difficult on out of state students
So far the only people who have heard news are those on the upper east coast except for one person in Washington.
Still waiting down here in Texas…
I’m waiting on UM, USC, and UT I only have on acceptance so far.
@newsie2015 I’m from the West Coast and was deferred…I think a lot of people on this thread aren’t from the West, but if there’s more West Coasters on here, I’m the only one deferred I think …
@newsie2015 From CA to be exact
Maybe they will come out at 5? I assume they would come out before the maintenance started…
@spldnlvr Okay, so then there really is no pattern accept that only people who have a decision were deferred.
@Newsie2015 Yes, that’s what I think also
Also, deferrals were the first to come out last year, too.
What’s the point of doing it in batches? Why not just release them all at once?
@WVWVVW so that their website doesn’t break and they arent overwhelmed with emails and phone calls.
At least we know they will release on a saturday since deferrals came today. So there is a great chance we will hear before the maintenance window.
I live in Florida and was deferred
Do a lot of people get straight up rejected right away from UM?
@newsie2015 that’sn ot how other schools do it though. For example Michigan (who assume has many more applicants) released them all within about an hour, and they had no site problems.
S deferred at SMU, accepted at TCU, Loyola MD, Marquette and Univ of Dayton. Still waiting on Miami.
So if some deferrals in a certain region already came out, do you think there is a chance there are more deferrals to be released in that region? Or do you think they are done with deferrals in the areas that have already heard?
Still nothing as of 5
