Do you guys think UT will consider about accuplacer? Cause I found the test grade will appear on our college transcript. I did really bad and didn’t pass the reading part. I’m worried about that is the reason I didn’t get in yet.

@dl23628 the accuplacer is not considered because that test only determines the level of clases you will be taking and not as if it was part of you GPA

ok guys so at 4:45pm today I got accepted!! I got into School of Engineering as an Electrical Engineer with a 3.75 GPA. so alas I made it in. Thank you guys for your support and I hope to see each and everyone of you guys there!

for those of you still waiting, hang on and be patient!

Congrats EE2112.

Rejected. Applied for geosciences and education.

Does anyone know if after i gotten my spring grades and sent it to them, they would reconsider? Or it is their final decision already?

^^^^^ No life whatsoever…

@police. I’m sorry about the rejection but I’m pretty sure that’s their final decision unless you decide to appeal…What did your calculated GPA end up being?

@kusumuthram: Now that it’s safe to say that you’re being a ■■■■■, can you please stop spamming the thread? I don’t know if you’re feeling angry about being rejected, (if you did apply, you probably were…no offense) but this is a constructive thread and we don’t need idiots on here.

My 3.29 is starting to feel extremely weak…I’m just happy that my application is still under review.

do they tell you your calculated GPA if you are rejected?

@jungleman- Yes they do. I was rejected in the spring and the letter I got in the mail gave me my calculated GPA.

thank you.

"Also, I called up admissions on friday. They said that anybody who is not accepted by today latest is going to get rejected.

I feel very sad for you folks. I really do :)

Try again And better luck next time"

“I got accepted into Cockrell School of engineering. Double majoring in business.”

“I did not apply, I’m just here to support you guys.”

Obviously you’re lying about whether or not you applied and supporting others seeing as how you said all of the above (by the way you cannot double major in business - only minor). I sincerely doubt anyone in MIT is this moronic and has the writing capabilities of a 5 year old. I don’t know what your ‘deal’ is - whether UT rejected you, having some petty grudge, or whatever - but stop being so annoying.

I apologize to everyone else on this thread. I’ve been on both the rejected and accepted end of UT and few things make me as angry as seeing someone mock something so important to all of us.

Congrats @EE2112!! And thanks! I can stop worrying about the Accuplacer.

Now Im just here for moral support. Good luck guys!

Congrats EE2112! I’ll be seeing you at orientation!

thank you! Ill be going the 30th of June

Congratulations, EE2112!

Have any of you received your acceptance in the mail yet? How long did it take?

Liars can usually be found out by demonstrating some sort of inconsistency in their narrative, as Jammy just illustrated. Time to quit feeding the ■■■■■ guys.

Correct! Ignorance leads to Oblivion

No I dont have my letter yet since I just found out today. As a matter of fact, my financial Aid has not yet been processed.

So I was denied with a GPA of 3.06 with 54 hours to COLA - Economics and I was wondering after my spring grades get in which will make my GPA a 3.29 with 72 hours if I should appeal the decision? How effective are appeals especially ones with just an increase in GPA? I really need to know this because if not then my shot at UT is done with and I have to go to my backup UTD :[

I know someone said they got in to the exact major with the exact GPA I will have at the end of this semester. If that makes a difference.
