reply to sh1993…Perhaps as early as Thursday - but it seems Fri/Sat is a more realistic guess based on time posted and USPS lag

Haha rejected in SoCal
Oh well. Congrats to all who were admitted!

No mail in Ventura County (Moorpark) today… well, for me at least :(

Somewhat disappointing seeing as though we’re 45 miles away from SC, but applicants all the way down in San Diego (200+ miles) got letters today. Hmph…

How long would it take for a decision to get to Texas? Is tomorrow possible, or too soon?

The USPS website, based on the mail type would indicate priority mail would probably arrive in Texas tomorrow. NOTE - I think we’ve missed the boat on the arrival of acceptances and rejections in socal today. If Priority mail dispatched LA tuesday - it would arrive socal weds…rejections historically have been sent 1st class mail - perhaps that can also arrive in socal quickly (1 day). SOOOOO, the question remains whether those of us in outposts get both acceptances and rejections priority mail or if the two rate mailing still applies. I haven’t slept well in days for worrying about this so I apologize in advance if this thread is frayed.

Texas - if you were accepted, the USPS claims you will receive priority mail as early as thursday -Friday if things get twisted.

I don’t think we yet know if rejections were sent with the same SPEED mail delivery…that just isn’t clear to me yet.

It seems like the USC packages/letters will probably reach Northern California/Bay Area tomorrow. GOOD LUCK Y’ALL!

Best case scenario for Texas is tomorrow, I’m hoping we won’t have to wait until Friday ![]()
Rejections were sent Express, Acceptances were sent Priority… so no news is probably bad news, but I’m just guessing

I am a SoCal resident. Everyone in my neighborhood got an acceptance or denial letter today. I didnt get ANY mail from USC. I called and the lady verified my mailing address and told me in a sweet voice and giggle to be patient and that I would be hearing from them soon. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN anyone have any ideas. I feel like I should have gotten something from them today theres no logical reason why I wouldnt have.

I live in LA county and I did not receive anything from USC today.

i don’t know if this helps but this is my situation :D

@keul9993 this sucks well all we can do is WAIT even LONGER. Maybe mail is backed up or something no idea.

Keul9993, I live in LA too, and I also get nothing today.

Alphabetical ordering perhaps?

I live in Orange County and I just got my acceptance letter today!
Good luck, everyone =)

Whew. It’s refreshing to hear that others in Texas still haven’t heard anything. I’ll definitely be checking back here tomorrow if I get my letter/if I don’t. Although if everybody else from Texas is posting about getting accepted, well, that’ll suck. Fingers crossed for everyone and congrats on those who’ve already received their acceptances!!

Good luck to all the Texans out there… I hope we can all be Trojans tomorrow, fingers crossed :)

Just got my package. Accepted for Screenwriting :)

my last name starts with L and my first name starts with C
but i honestly don’t think it has anything to do with alphabetical order haha
hopefully there will be a big package/envelope in my mailbox tomorrow

Congrats sydney!!!

My sister didn’t get a letter and I did. We’re in SoCal. A few other people around here didn’t get letters too. People have gotten both yays and nays so I don’t think that has anything to do with it. Damn USPS. :P

@photomac WOW thats crazy good to hear i guess it doesnt mean anything waiting sucks and an extra day at school where everyone will be flaunting sucks aswell
