travelgirl: Thanks for replying! very helpful.

Has anyone from the second batch received their purple packet yet? I actually thought that it would be definitely here today but nothing in the mail. Hope for tomorrow!

I was actually looking into the class schedule and there is no Composition II for Winter quarter. Is it true or I’m just misreading it.

206pirublood: did you submit your application closer to the deadline or earlier on? I haven’t recieved a letter nor has my transcript loaded, but then I did submit my application the day everything was due… Hah whoops

When you receive your packet, you will have an “enrollment confirmation” slip to return. On the top it says “Please return this with the $272 New Student Fee” or something similar. The slip will have all of your ID #'s and processing codes pre-printed on it, so there’s no way to just find it online.

You will not have access to the Advising and Orientation reservation page until after your payment clears. Even then, it can take up to 48hrs for your NetID permissions to be updated to allow access to the scheduler. Mine took a full day.

206PiruBlood: That’s great news! There is hope for us yet! The same thing happened to my boyfriend when he applied and now he’s graduating this month! This is so exciting! Oops, too many exclamation points!!!

I dont think my app has been reviewed yet. Still says “thank you for applying… We will notify you by postal mail when a decision has been made.” my mom’s mailing address is 2 hrs from where I currently live, think it’s wise to change address right now?

Just be patient, the status wont even change after your unofficial transcript has loaded or even once you get the letter. It changes after a whiiiiile

Hey there,
I am from out of state and still have not heard back! Everyone posting seems to be of the in-state residency genome, but is there any one out there that has been accepted that is out of state?

it takes 3-4 days until the payment is posted. you can see it in myuw(go to my uw- financial aiad status- click on tuition statement, it should appear there) the soon the cash the check.

I sent a check with my enrollment confirmation slip. It took 2 days to process it and update my NetID access so I could schedule the A&O session. HOWEVER, I live an hour away, so the mail got there very fast.
